The exact length of the lease was unclear. The asking rent was more than $130 per square foot, according to a source with knowledge of the deal.
Newmark‘s William Cohen and Ariel Harwood are the exclusive leasing agents for the property. Brian Goldman and Cooper Weisman — also from Newmark — represented the tenant in this deal.
Newmark declined to comment, while a spokesperson for Vestal Point Capital did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Standing 21 stories tall, 11 East 26th Street is a two-building office complex connected to 15 East 26th Street. The second floor is a full-scale amenity club featuring a workout space, a private lounge, a designated area for whiskey lockers, and a grab-and-go kitchen.
