31k-Mile 2001 BMW M5
This 2001 BMW M5 was initially ordered and sold through Yark BMW in Ohio, and was shipped from the factory to the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina, where the original owner is said to to have completed an M5 Driving Experience upon delivery. The car reportedly remained with the original owner until the dealer’s acquisition in early 2026 and it now has 31k miles. It was specified in Titanium Silver Metallic over Black and Imola Red Nappa Point extended leather. Power is provided by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a sunroof, xenon headlights, 18″ Style 65 wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, an Alcantara headliner, driver-seat position memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and navigation. Service in June 2026 included replacement of the cabin filters, engine air filters, spark plugs, coolant reservoir, and rear sway bar brackets. This E39 M5 is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) with Shadowline trim and features xenon headlights with washers, fog lamps, a glass sunroof, a trunk lid spoiler, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and quad exhaust outlets. Service in June 2025 included replacing the front lower fender liners, splash guards, and the ambient temperature sensor. Paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery below.
Chrome Shadow 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with Michelin tires installed in May 2021 . The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with All Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs measuring 13.6″ and 12.9″ front and rear, respectively. Service in June 2025 included a brake fluid flush and replacement of the front lower control arm thrust bushings. The rear sway bar brackets were replaced in June 2026, and the ABS module was repaired in September 2026 to address an error code related to the return pump control circuit.
The cabin features Black and Imola Red Nappa Point leather covering the heated power-adjustable front sport seats, door panel inserts, center console, and lower dashboard, while aluminum accents the upper dashboard, center console, and upper doors. Amenities include an Alcantara headliner, driver-seat position memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and navigation.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 31k miles.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. A replacement battery was installed in June 2024. The drive belts were replaced in June 2025, and a coolant flush was performed at that time. Service in June 2026 included an oil change as well as replacement of the cabin filters, engine air filters, spark plugs, and the coolant reservoir.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Service in June 2025 included replacing the differential output shaft seals.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina, and lists colors and standard equipment along with a total suggested retail price of $72,070.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
