SANSA has welcomed the appointment of an Interim Board for the South African National Space Agency, effective 21 August 2026. The appointment was made by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Blade Nzimande, in terms of Section 13A(3) of the SANSA Act, 2008, and will remain in place for a six-month period (until January 2027) or until a new Board is constituted.
