The automotive sector was the leading exporting sector for the third consecutive year in 2025, with exports totaling 159.2 billion dirhams. Conversely, exports from the textile and leather sector fell by 2.1 MMDH (-4.6%), and exports from the electronics and electricity sector declined due to a 3 MMDH drop in electronic component exports (-38.8%). Overall, Morocco's total exports reached 470 MMDH in 2025, with natural and chemical fertilizers leading the product breakdown at 15.6%, followed by passenger cars (12.6%) and wires/cables (11.9%).
