Bass Mark Kurmanbayev has joined the roster of Centre Stage Artist Management for general management.
Kurmanbayev is quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting young basses of his generation and has already appeared with many of Europe’s leading opera houses, including the Bayerische Staatsoper, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Dutch National Opera, and Baden-Baden Easter Festival.
In the 2026-27 season, Kurmanbayev joined the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where he makes several important role debuts including Colline in Götz Friedrich’s “La Bohème” under the baton of Giampaolo Bisanti and Basilio in “Il barbiere di Siviglia,” staged by Katharina Thalbach and conducted by Giovanni Conti. He is also performing at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège.
He was a finalist of the 2025 Belvedere Competition.
