A special half-day ArgoCon Japan (1:30pm – 6:30pm) will be held July 28, 2026 in Yokohama, Japan as a colocated event with KubeCon + CloudNativeCon. This is a chance to hear from and meet both end users and leading Argo Maintainers to share how the Argo Project is making organizations more effective with Kubernetes. This will include AI Agent Orchestration, GitOps Best Practices, Scaling Argo Workflows, a chance to participate in shaping the next versions of Argo CD, and so much more.
The best part of ArgoCon Japan will be the chance to meet and share wisdom with other Argo users and the project’s maintainers, featuring talks from end-user companies like American Express, Coralogix and others. Argo CD lead, Michael Crenshaw, Intuit will be speaking and sharing a proposal for the next version of Argo CD. Other maintainers like myself (Dan Garfield, Octopus Deploy), Christian Hernandez, Cisco, and Nitish Kumar, Akuty, will also be sharing project insights and meeting with users looking for feedback and sharing best practices.
ArgoCon has traditionally been limited to North America and Europe where most of the project maintainers live. This is the first time we’re bringing ArgoCon to Asia and we’re very excited to meet the Argo community in person in this important venue.
Over 70% of organizations running Kubernetes have adopted, or are in the process of adopting Argo (CNCF Annual Survey). It runs critical infrastructure in almost every industry and it has a critical role in AI, software delivery, data processing and much more.
There is a lot to be excited about happening in our community for us to celebrate! We’re preparing to release Argo CD 3.5, the biggest release since Argo CD 3.0, with hundreds of improvements, especially in making ApplicationSets first-class citizens. We’ve also just completed the 2026 Argo CD end-user survey and have lots of insights to share. Argo Workflows has been making big strides, and Argo Rollouts has matured support for Gateway API via community plugins.
