Ukraine Update July 21
2026 — Warehouse Carnage — Bunkers, not Purses.
So Goes the Invasion of Ukraine
Madyar highlighted an attack on targets in Krasnodar region last night — operational targets, not strategic. They targeted air defense sites in Russian territory with long-range drones.
A Kasta 2E2, Gamme-S1M, and two NEBO-U radars at Yeysk, an airfield in Krasnodar, were destroyed. Another Nebo-U was hit in Primorsk-Akhtarsk. Closer to home, in occupied Zaporizhzhia, a Buk-M1 SAM system and an unnamed radar were destroyed. (Unnamed by Madyar; I’m sure the Russians have a name for it. I lost my Jane’s access, so….)
Magyar also reports hitting another 19 electrical substations in Crimea, bringing the total for July to 104.
CyberBoroshno put together a map of the 183 ships that have been hit so far (total will increase later today as reports are made). I think there is a pattern here, and the pattern is ‘if a Russian ship goes to sea, hit it.’ On the right, damaged tankers in port at Azov, Rostov region.
