Speaking at Drapers Social Summit, the conference dedicated to discovering how fashion retailers and brands are navigating the increasingly complex world of social media to drive growth, Catherine Weller, social media lead at Wyse London, Natasha Dabell, head of ecommerce and CRM at Percival, and Stephanie Oakes, social and influencer lead at Reiss, discussed their tips to scale engagement.
In this episode, the trio explained how they deploy a mix of curated content, influencer advocacy and nuanced engagement tactics to build a loyal following across distinct audiences.
Speaking about the “halo effect” social media can have, Percival’s Dabell said: “The way that [something] spreads – [social media users] tell someone who tells someone and it’s that kind of six degrees of separation. We then get a text from someone so obscure and everyone’s phones in the offices are pinging, so we know we’re doing something that our community loves.”
