We are pleased to welcome Adriani Nikolakopoulou to the Cochrane Methods Executive!
Adriani is co-convenor of the Comparing Multiple Interventions Methods Group and Assistant Professor of Medical Statistics, Epidemiology at the Department of Hygiene, Social-Preventive Medicine & Medical Statistics, Medical School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is also a guest scientist at the Institute of Medical Biometrics and Statistics (IMBI) at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her research focuses on the development of methodology for pairwise and network meta-analysis. She has published more than 60 articles in international medical and statistical journals and has contributed extensively to advancing methods used in systematic reviews.
Adriani is Co-Director of Cochrane Greece and an Associate Editor for Research Synthesis Methods, where she is responsible for the Tutorials and Research in Brief article categories. She has also served as an Associate Editor for Systematic Reviews and Trials.
There was one open position on the Methods Executive. Matt Page (Cochrane Bias) will rotate off at the end of 2026. Adriani will join the team towards the end of 2026. Details on the Methods Executive and membership can be found here.
