Srinagar: Mountain Rescue Teams (MRT) of Jammu & Kashmir Police continued their dedicated service to Shri Amarnath Ji Yatris along both the Baltal and Pahalgam axis on Thursday, providing first aid, oxygen support, stretcher assistance and other essential emergency services to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage.

“In one notable rescue, an elderly female yatri who experienced difficulty in walking was safely evacuated by the MRT J&K Police Dumail team, in coordination with MRT CRPF and NDRF personnel, using a stretcher and transported to a safer location for further care,” he added.
