Rating: cuánto midió la tercera gala de eliminación de Masterchef Celebrity

The third elimination gala of Masterchef Celebrity featured several celebrities competing in a challenge involving mondongo (trotters) preparation, with the goal of avoiding elimination. The event also included live performances and special challenges involving mystery boxes. Participants presented dishes, such as guisos and milanesas made with mondongo, leading to varied evaluations from judges. Some contestants were praised for their dishes, while others faced criticism regarding texture and seasoning. The overall rating for the night reached a high point of 12.5 points.

The structure of the event—blending culinary competition with media crossover, as evidenced by mentions of Wanda Nara—suggests a deliberate strategy to leverage existing celebrity connections for viewership. The focus on a specific ingredient like mondongo elevates a traditionally lower-status food item into a high-stakes competitive element, implicitly linking cultural shifts or revalorization within the format. The shift in judging focus, moving from mere execution to texture and seasoning critiques (as seen with Maru Botana’s comment), shows how narrative weight is built around aesthetic quality rather than just adherence to the task. Furthermore, the high-stakes elimination format, coupled with emotional reactions from participants like the departing journalist, indicates that the show functions less as a cooking competition and more as a vehicle for shared, emotionally resonant social observation. The constant negotiation between tangible performance (the food) and intangible presence (media connections) suggests an underlying pattern of managing public perception through curated spectacle.
