In the healthcare sector, key initiatives being inaugurated include an 858-bed Rain Basera facility at Civil Hospital in Asarwa, Ahmedabad, along with similar infrastructure at Gandhinagar Civil Hospital and GMERS Medical College.
Boosting tourism, the Prime Minister is inaugurating projects such as the Light and Sound Show at Rani ki Vav in Patan and a Water Screen Projection Show at Sharmishtha Lake in Vadnagar, while also laying the foundation for tourism infrastructure in Banaskantha.
Major water supply projects are also being dedicated, including the Kasara–Dantiwada and Dindrol–Mukteshwar pipelines, together worth around ₹1,780 crore. Additionally, the foundation stone is being laid for a drinking water scheme covering Ambaji town and 34 surrounding villages, benefiting nearly 1.5 lakh people.
The Prime Minister is also laying the foundation for three Sabarmati Riverfront expansion projects in Gandhinagar district and inaugurating a Government Boys Hostel at Vejalpur in Ahmedabad to support tribal students pursuing higher education.
These projects collectively aim to strengthen infrastructure, improve connectivity, and drive socio-economic development across Gujarat.
