After new footage showed “revival” breaking out at a Texas book-signing, Christian influencers have issued new warnings about the woman who claims to be responsible.
Kathryn Krick, who identifies as an “apostle” despite no formal theological training, leads Five-Fold Church, known as 5F, in Los Angeles. While promoting her latest book, “Ignite Revival,” she greeted more than 200 fans at a Houston bookstore.
A video shows people convulsing and falling over while Krick talks to and prays for them. In the caption, Krick wrote, “God’s power is not limited to the four walls of a church.” According to an article at MyCharisma.com, people were “being set free from diseases, bondage of the past, and receiving an impartation from God.”
But some Christians warn that Krick’s followers are being dangerously deceived and manipulated.

Kathryn Krick Follows a ‘Spiritual Father’ in Tanzania
Self-proclaimed Apostle Kathryn Krick, 35, is the author of “The Secret of the Anointing” and “Unlock Your Deliverance.” She initially moved to L.A. to pursue an acting and singing career. Nine years ago, 5F Church began as a worship night, she explained in a recent post.

“Whenever I preached, I would battle insecurity,” wrote Krick. “I really didn’t feel like a preacher, and it was quite uncomfortable every time I preached for years, as I would regularly battle the lies of the enemy telling me I wasn’t good enough. But I knew that all that mattered was obeying.” Despite a decrease in size from 2017 to 2021, 5F Church has since grown beyond Krick’s “wildest dreams!” she added.
Much of that growth is due to social media, where Krick has a large following. One profile of her is titled “L.A.’s TikTok Apostle.”
In 2021, Krick said that for three years she had faithfully followed God’s instructions “to make 1 minute videos and post them on social media, and to keep being obedient and consistent – like how the Israelites kept marching around the walls of Jericho out of pure obedience to God.”
In a recent post, Krick wrote, “Eight of my spiritual sons who serve at @5fchurch traveled to my spiritual father, Prophet GeorDavie’s church in Tanzania. When they arrived, Prophet GeorDavie revealed their callings as pastors, an apostle, and a teacher, and anointed all eight of them for ministry.”
Krick credits the authority of Prophet GeorDavie for her ability to cast out demons and perform faith healings. According to his bio, GeorDavie holds a Ph.D. in church ministry and carries “the fire of Apostolic and Prophetic World Missions.” His books include “Keeping up With God’s Kingdom Government Standards.”
