In a statement, Dudamel said, “I’m so deeply honored to be joining Madonna, Shakira + Burna Boy, BTS, Justin Bieber, and PS22 Chorus (ft. Coldplay) on July 19 at the first-ever FIFA World Cup 2026™ Halftime Show, produced by Global Citizen. Curated by my dear friend Chris Martin, it will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, working to expand access to education for children around the world.”
The Halftime show is in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and its mission is to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world.
