Sunday evening, the "Reality Awards" of the year took place in Oslo.
The late legend Olaf Tufte was awarded this year's participant for his efforts in "Helvetesuka". His wife, Aina Tufte, received the prize on behalf of the beloved who died suddenly on July 21st this year, at the age of 50.
– It is fantastic that what he was has been noticed. It is extremely sad that he is not here, of course, but it is good for us that Norway has supported him, Tufte told NRK.
His children Herman Aurelius and Mie Lovise Tufte were also present at the "Reality Awards".
Tufte was nominated along with Ingrid Gjessing Linhave from "71 grader nord", Erik Tomter from "Team Pølsa", and Erik Follestad from "Svart trøye".
– He was just as he was at home
Earlier this year, Tufte participated in the Viaplay series "Helvetesuka". Thirteen famous sports profiles were subjected to a military simulation inspired by the selection tests of the special forces and some of the most demanding courses in the Defence.
The former Olympic winner had to eventually stop participating after the medical team intervened.
Wife Aina believes that Olaf Tufte showed himself on television exactly as he is at home – even when he was very exhausted:
– He showed himself as a fantastic person who sees others, supports others, and wants the best for others. He managed to show this even when he was very hungry, tired, and weary.
"Helvetesuka" also received a prize on Sunday evening and was crowned the character-driven reality program of the year.
Five years in a row
The "Reality Awards" are organized by Se og Hør and were held for the fifth time this year.
Before the awards, 116 participants, programs, presenters, and TV moments were nominated in a total of 15 categories. The audience voted for the finalists and winners in the ordinary categories.
The awards ceremony took place at the Embassy in Oslo on Sunday evening.
Several NRK programs also made it sharp during the awards. "Team Pølsa" won the prize for the lifestyle reality of the year, while Øystein Pettersen was crowned presenter of the year.
"A-laget" won the entertainment program of the year, "Humoretaten" became the humor program of the year, and "Ville fristelser" received the prize for the talk show of the year.
"Spillet" won the category for the most competitive reality of the year, while "Skal vi danse" was crowned the comeback of the year. Jan Thomas and Einar Tørnquist won the duo for "Norway's dumbest".
The award of honor of the year went to Linni Meister. Composer Raymond Enoksen received the award of the year for his work with music for more than 200 Norwegian series and films.
